Ever since i was a little girl my parents have anyways told me "first impressions last a life time" but do they really?

 Im about 5'1, very curvy, large chest, long curly brown hair, blue eyes and a great smile. Not bad at all to look at! I also have my ears stretched, as of right now there at an inch and a half, which is pretty big. I know stretched ears theses days are nothing new, tons of people have little plugs. so what. I do not dress like a goth, I am not a punk at all, I guess you might call me an abercrombie girl. Most every day i wear my hair down, I  take pride in my hair and get many complements on it, my natural curles seem to catch everyones eye! I wear my hair down at work, and when im out. When im home, sometimes I prefer to wear my hair up in a bun, just to keep it out of my face when im working around the house, or laying on the couch. what ever.

    When I fisrt meet someone new. I really try not to show my ears. Now most people would say "if your going to hide them, why have them". its not so much that im hiding them. I just dont want to scare people away! or give someone the wrong impression. Really most of the time, when im with other people and I meet someone new, they always point out "LOOK AT  HER EARS" so I become somewhat of a show. I have found that when people see my ears before they get to know me, they tend to come off as jerks, tend to be rude to me, and not take me seriously, or  treat me as an equal, they act like im some loser from another planet! When my hair is down and people get to know me first its usually the start of a good friendship. Im a cute girl, im funny, im friendly, im kind. blah blah blah after a while when they either realize my ears are huge or someone else tells them, their really really shocked. sometimes I get "are they real?" or "were you born like that?" or "how did you get them to grow like that?" or "if you take your earings out will your ears fall off?"

     If you saw me in a public place would you talk to me? if you saw my ears would that make you NOT want to talk to me? would  you judge me before you got to know me just because im different? I want to know what you think.
